Maggie Yen Smith is a member of the Firmís Technology
Practice, with a concentration in the Semiconductor sector.
She does extensive cross-border work in the Asia-Pacific region,

Maggie holds a bachelors degree
and an MBA in Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma.
She grew up in Taiwan, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese

Mark has been in recruiting and staffing since 1979. He is
currently the proprietor of Swat Recruiting (www.swatrecruiting.com),
a firm supporting the technology needs of the recruiting and
staffing industry. He has been heavily involved in Internet
recruiting since there was Internet recruiting and has become
an expert on recruiting and sourcing products and services
available to the recruiting industry. Mark also authors the
Internet Recruiting column appearing monthly in The Fordyce
Letter and is a frequent contributor to other recruiting industry
publications. He has obtained both his CPC and CIR professional
designations. Mark is also on the board of directors for the

Jim is a managing
director and leader of the recruiting function for Huron Consulting
Group; one of the nation’s premier financial and operational
consulting firms, headquartered in Chicago, IL. He is charged
with building the infrastructure to support the organizations
strategic talent needs while driving the company’s nationwide
growth, tracking competitive industry trends, as well as identifying,
hiring, developing and retaining the most qualified experts
in professional services.
Jim joined Huron in 2006 with
over 20 years of experience in developing solutions for leadership
in the areas of human resources and recruitment, as well as
building infrastructure to support the needs of business.
He was most recently the vice president of human resources
with Edward Don And Company, the nation’s largest food
service supply and equipment distributor where he was responsible
for the entire human capital function. He was formerly the
national director of experience recruiting for Arthur Andersen’s
business consulting practice. Jim’s emphasis at Andersen
in addition to overseeing the development of their nationwide
recruiting pipeline was building the infrastructure to support
an aggressive executive (partner) recruiting campaign.
Prior to Andersen, Jim was
with the Internet consultancy, Lante, where he led their global
strategic staffing function, contributing to their rapid global
growth in preparation for their IPO (Lante scaled from 4 to
14 offices and 140 to 700 consultants in an 18 month period).
Prior to Lante, Jim served as a search consultant with the
global retained executive search firm Ray & Berndston,
where he sold and executed numerous client projects. He served
as national director of human resources for Deloitte &
Touche and has also worked for the Havi Group L.P., a diverse
multinational supplier to McDonald’s Corporation, as
a leader in their human resource group in two of their divisions.
Jim began is professional career while still pursuing his
undergraduate degree with United Parcel Service where he spent
nearly six years in operations management and HR. |

George Bradt has a unique perspective

education at Harvard and Wharton, George progressed through

George is the author of The

Mr. Henneman entered his career in financial
research in 1998 following graduate studies in history at
the University of Florida. In June of 2000, Henneman joined
ValuEngine as Director of Business Development, and became
President in 2001 during a company wide re-organization. Under
his leadership, ValuEngine solidified partnerships with companies
such as CBSMarketwatch, Reuters, Thomson Financial, Hoovers,
UBS Warburg, numerous hedge funds, and others. These relationships
have made ValuEngine a recognized leader in independent research;
distributing thousands of research reports through dozens
of distribution channels each month, in addition to online
subscription, software, and customized data feed products.
ValuEngine is a major provider of research as part of the
Global Settlement for UBS Warburg and Deustche Bank. Current

Mr. Mitchell has more than
35 years of diversified leadership experience with major U.S.
and international corporations. His principal areas of expertise
are in Finance, International Business Development, Business
Organization and Sales. He served as an officer and director
of several international companies. In this capacity he has
directed several multi-million dollar sales and marketing
programs. Mr. Mitchell began his business career with Parke,
Davis & Company where he conducted field research and
assisted in developing domestic and international sales. As
Vice-President of the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS),
he directed federal programs for the CBS Educational Group,
covering all Washington, D.C. governmental agencies and interfacing
with state agencies for the 50 states. Beginning in 1968,
Mr. Mitchell began to specialize in the development of bank
line financing and capitalization for small and mid-range
companies. He has developed and managed small IPOs and Private
Placement Investment vehicles. He has consulted in international
import-export and government relations for small and large
corporations. His expertise ranges from the development of
comprehensive business plans for corporate implementation
to mergers and acquisitions. Currently Mr. Mitchell is a consultant
to the executive staff of the American Stock exchange, (AMEX),
and serves as Chairman of the Advisory Boards of three U.S.

In March of 2007 Laurence Sheehan
was appointed as the COO of Solaris Trading, a.v.v. an international
securities firm which is headquartered in Oranjestad, Aruba.
Previously he was the President of Laurence Sheehan Associates
(LSA) an international high tech strategic consultancy.
LSA has over the years provided strategic consulting, build-out
and management to the banking and securities industry. Previously
Mr. Sheehan was the Chairman of the Cambridge Assessment Centre,
Founder and President of Corporate Development Systems, Founder
of the venture capital firm of Anthonyson & Sheehan and
before that was for many years at the Information Services
division of The Chase Manhattan Bank with international responsibility
for the staffing and build-out of Interactive Data, Chase
Econometrics, Dynamics Associates, and Chase Cash Access.
Within the information services division he served on the
executive steering committee. Mr. Sheehan began in the securities
industry with EDS on Wall Street where he worked on both the
DuPont Glore, Forgin and Dominic & Dominic accounts.
Mr. Sheehan has a master’s
degree from Harvard University, was the President of the alumni
association and has served on the Board of Directors of HAA.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Boston College.
Currently as the President Elect of Rotary International of
Wellesley, he serves on the Board of Directors and is a Harris
Fellow.
As a frequent speaker for industry
he has presented at IBM’s World Wide OO Conference in
Orlando, Florida and the Annual TPM Conference in Memphis,
Tennessee. Twice he has presented at the prestigious Financial
CIO Forum onboard the QE2, once as the Keynote Speaker.
Over the years Mr. Sheehan
has served on numerous Boards of Directors: academic, corporate
and public.
